You jerk as someone lifted the book from your relaxed hands, glancing up at him and staring to the side.
“May I have this?” Erik asked.
“Sure… I’m done with it.” You nod, picking up your bag and standing.
“Hey, you’re the girl Thor’s been talking about.” He said as he recognized you.
“Y-yeah… he’s not crazy; you know… he’s telling the truth about things, despite how farfetched it sounds… I mean… I wouldn’t believe it if I didn’t experience it myself…” you go to walk by him and stopped. “Hey, do you know a place I could stay around here?”
“The inn is full. You can come stay at our lab; Thor wants to talk to you.”
“Are you sure?”
“As long as you don’t mind Darcy complaining about not having an ipod.” He led you to the lab.
“What is this? Find strange people and bring them here day?” Darcy asked.
“Here, use my ipod. I’m going to meditate.” You toss her your ipod, rolling your eyes as she squealed, sitting in a corner and shutting your eyes as a storm approached.
