You groaned as the sunlight snuck in past the curtains, crawling along your face until it was laying square across your eyes, pulling the sheets higher and turned on your other side to not be blinded by the light.
“Mm… someone close the blinds… it’s too early…” you grumble, burring your face in the man in front of you small of his back, blushing slightly and smiling like a fool as you realized who you were clinging to.
“Mm… good morning, Love…” Tom mumbled groggily, clearing his throat slightly as he tried to turn over and smiled softly as you refused to let go. “Love?”
“It’s been a while since I’ve slept so well… I wanna sleep more…” you snuggle closer to him.
“I’m sorry, but we have to get up. I have panels to run and you have to all to see if you can take off work.”
“Um… how long for?”
“A month.” He replied quickly, causing you to gasp and sit up to stare at him.
“YY-you’re kidding! A month?!” you watch as he turns onto his back to smile up at you.
“Yes, I am very serious, I would like a month to get to know you better.” He put a hand to your face, gently running it through your hair slowly.
“T-Tom I’m not sure I’d be able to do such a thing…” you shake your head.
“I see how it is, you just wish to avoid me now, don’t you.” He grinned as your eyes narrowed.
“You know that’s obviously not the reason.” You growl, sitting back on your hunches and stared to the side. “I don’t trust leaving my apartment for very long… I’m worried about being here for so long…” you sigh, twitching slightly as he sits up under you.
“Love if you’re that worried than I shall come Back to where you live and stay there.” He went to wrap a hand around your back when you leaned away, cringing as you fell off the bed, your injured ankle still resting on the mattress. “Are you alright?”
“I-I’m fine…” you groan, turning onto your stomach to stand and twitched as you felt something touch your ankle. You glanced over your shoulder, blushing slightly as you noticed your foot in his hands and his lips to your flesh. “Ah…? Um… Tom…?”
“Mm?” he glanced up at you.
“W-what are you doing?” you try to get your appendage back from him, your blush worsening as he leans over the edge of the bed and picked you up under the arms. “T-Tom?~!”
“I was checking the swelling.” He smiled as he set you back on the bed.
“Oh… well… the-there are other ways of checking…” you stare to the side.
“But those are so… boring…” he smirked.
“But those ways probably won’t scare me as much…” you growl slightly.
“Scarring you is fun to do. Anyways I must get a shower, help yourself to anything on the room service menu.” He smiled, kissing your forehead as he stood and headed into the bathroom, shutting the door. You sigh as you hear your cell phone go off, grabbing it and groaning as you saw it was Claire, one of your roommates and answered.
