Literature Text

You had been training at the hidden SHIELD academy for half a year now, outshining all the other students, including the upper classmen and even some of the instructors. Everyone was either jealous of you, hated you, or both. Ever since SHIELD had found you wandering in the streets of China town your life had vastly changed, and you weren’t sure that was a good thing.
You had been uprooted from the only home you had known, taken from the other street kids you had made friends with, and worse, you had been snatched away from the only family you had ever known, Leo. He wasn’t related to your or anything and you only saw him once every few months or so, but he had taken care of you from the first time you had met, way back when you were seven and had run away from the foster parents who had been abusing you. Leo was in his teens when you had first met, and, like you, was running from his home. He had briefly mentioned his home life, his father never gave him any attention and his older brother got all the glory. His emerald eyes were dark and stormy whenever he had spoken about that life, but when you two had run into each other his hardened eyes had changed, grown softer every time you met.
It was storming when you first laid eyes on each other, both of you had scrambled for cover in a soggy cardboard box, wrestling for ownership and made your way into your won home. You stared at the dark haired man as the lighting struck near, motioning him in and smiled slightly at the appreciation on his face. Ever since then you had been best friends and you looked up to him as an older brother. He had trained you in thievery and martial arts, which is why you were better than your fellow students.
You sighed as you stared out the window towards the dark street, bored with the lesson being taught about thieving, and thought back to how you had wound up here.
Leo had bolted from your home when thunder had sounded, leaving you staring out the doorway as he ran through the pouring rain and sighed. He had never run when a storm hit while he was staying with you. Instead you two just stayed in your nest of blankets and soft things, talking about how your life had been going between his visits and listening to the soft patter of the rain. It had been nearly a year since you last saw him, and you wished to return to your home.
Seven months ago you got a knock on the abandoned apartment you had made your own, throwing the door open as you expected to see Leo, quickly realizing it wasn’t and turning to run when twenty men pointed guns at you from all around. You gulped, turning to the black man as he stepped in front of you, eyeing his leather attire and the patch over his one eye.
The man, Nick Fury, had offered you a home, money, anything you could possibly want, but you refused. After that he said that there was no other option, you had to go with him, and you were literally forced to do as he said.
“(Y/n) pay attention!” Steve growled at you from the front of the room, causing you to look lazily over at him and rolled your (e/c) eyes.
“I already know who stole all the jewels… can I go now?” you question, resting your face on one of your hands and blinked sleepily.
“Oh, sure, the youngest recruit ever knows who has been stealing.” Elle, a fellow student, scoffed.
“If you know than please, do explain. Tell us who it is.” the instructor growled.
“Sure. It’s June.” You jerk a thumb towards the girl who was sitting next to you.
“How do you figure?” June snapped, her parrot flapping its wings on her shoulder.
“Your parrot has been trained to take shiny things. I left out a very shiny quarter and watched as Dew,” you motioned to the bird, “Swooped in silently and took it.”
“Then were are the jewels?” Steve raised an eyebrow, watching as you rose to your feet, following behind you as you moved to the giant stuffed parrot in the back of the room and ripped its head off to the horror of everyone in the room, the jewels spilling out. “C-class dismissed. June, go to your room and stay there while we figure this out.”
“Finally…” you bolted out the door, heading down the halls and placing a hand to your necklace. You stopped dead in your tracks, turning as June strolled by, a smirk on her face, quickly taking three shuriken from your pouch and pinning the other to the wall with the weapons.
“Help! (Y/n) has gone crazy!” June shouted as you went to punch her, two instructors grabbing you and holding you back as you struggled.
“Let me go! June stole my pendent!” you manage to claw your way over to her, ripping her pockets open and found your pendent, the rungs that would hold it on the chain snapped off. “You bitch!” you shouted, throwing the instructors back as your body shook. “You don’t know how important this necklace is! And you broke it!”
“(Y/n) take a walk. Go cool off.” Natasha ordered, tossing you towards a door.
“You’ll pay…” you grumble, racing outside and stopping in the parking lot. You rubbed at your eyes as water dripped from them, turning and walking away as you heard someone approach and slipped on a sheet of ice.
“Did I not teach you better than this? Taken out by ice…” Loki’s voice drifted down from above you as you opened your eyes.
“Leo…?” you blink up at him as he knelt over you.
“Hello, love.” He smiled at you.

Shuriken....really? Besides some of the rather marysueish qualities this sounds like it has potential.
