I thrashed out as I woke, my left foot connecting with something, causing two groans to rise and for me to open my blurry eyes.
“Did you have to kick me…?” Loki groaned, sitting up and rubbing his shin.
‘Whoa shit?!” I gasped, backing away and falling off the bed. ‘Ow…”
“Are you alright?” he asked, leaning over the side of the bed and smirked at me, my left leg hanging over the edge of the bed, the shirt riding up my thighs. “What a view first thing in the morning.” He chuckled.
‘Oh no!” I sat up, quickly pulling the shirt down and blushing crimson.
“Tch. I was enjoying that.” He sighed, grabbing me under the arms and pulled me back onto the bed as I struggled.
‘Let go!” I growled, pulling at his hands and yelped as he held me to his chest.
“It’s late, Love. Just rest.” He breathed.
‘Late? But you said it was morning?” I blinked, turning and staring at him.
“It’s three a.m., Love. Morning but still late.”
‘I think you mean early… unless you just went to bed…?”
“I crawled in when you kicked me.” He laughed softly, brushing my bangs from my face and lifted my chin.
‘Sorry about that… I just normally have to kick the dog off the bed throughout the night…” I blushed, trying to pull away from him and yelped slightly as he moved closer, our faces centimeters away.
“Well don’t kick me again, Love.” He murmured against my lips.
‘Well then stay away from me while I sleep.” I stared to the side.
“I don’t think so.” He snuggled our bodies closer.
‘Look, I think I’ll just go back to my room and sleep. Let go of me.” I glared at him.
“No Love. I’m afraid Tony is waiting for you to leave.”
‘Seriously? I wish he’d just move on…” I sighed, turning away from him and shut my eyes.
“I’m rather thankful for him doing this.” He gently rubbed my back.
‘And why is that?” I snapped slightly.
“Because… it means I get to finally spend time with you and you alone.”
‘I still don’t know why you chose me... I’m nothing special…” I shifted away from him.
“You don’t see the gifts you possess, but I do. You are much more amazing than any mewling quim from Midgard.” he breathed in my ear.
‘I don’t… possess gifts…” I shook my head, growing more relaxed as his hand traced circles on my back.
“You have the best gifts one could hope to possess…”
‘You’re such a lair…” I fell asleep to his touch.
