Loki’s Point of View
I had hidden myself rather nicely form the others, blended in well with my surroundings, not very hard to do really given the fact that the graveyard we were in was surrounded by dense forests and bushes the same shade as my outfit. It also helped that it was the dead of night and the moon was just a sliver of its normal size.
‘Why am I playing a child’s game with the Avengers and (Y/n) in a graveyard during the witching hour?” I questioned myself as I stood stock still, my eyes roaming the area for any sign of the group of people who were hunting me. Yes, I was being hunted by those who had defied me and ruined my domination plan. Why was I here? Thor had convinced the All Father to release me into his custody, to see if I could control myself on Midgard, around an average mortal, (Y/n), and keep myself from using any form of magic.
(Y/n) and Tony were bored sitting at Stark Tower, and after an hour of debating what to do,  (Y/n) had suggested a Midgardian game, ghost in the graveyard, and Stark, of course, changed it to a drinking game. The one to be ghost had to take a shot of some strong form of alcohol; Barton, Romanoff, and Banner were out of the game, having passed out within the past few rounds. Stark, Thor, and Rogers were incapable of getting drunk it seemed and then there was (Y/n). She was the only one of the group who had yet to be the ghost, and that was my ultimate goal. I had resisted using magic until this point and was seriously debating using it to lead her straight into my open arms.

Readers point of View
You had found the ghost rather quickly, despite him blending in really well you could tell that that “tree” was no tree.
‘If he was allowed to use magic he’d have caught us all…” you thought from your perch in the large oak above his head, scanning the area for the others and sighed as you saw Tony sitting on top of a tombstone drinking, Thor staring at the stars in the middle of a clearing, and Steve, who was approaching the ghost rather quickly. You drop down silently behind Loki, hearing him growl slightly as his eyes landed on the man in front of him and shrieked in his ear, “GHOST IN THE GRAVEYARD!”
“Holy mother of Asgard?!” Loki shouted in shock, jumping in the air and turning to you as you doubled over laughing.

Loki’s Point of View
‘Where the devil did the mortal come from?! Popping up out of no were…” I thought as I patted my heart from the shock of the woman’s voice deafening in my ears, trying to regain my composer as I saw her collapse to her knees just out of my reach and gulped for air. How had she gotten behind me without me seeing or hearing her? Did she use some form of magic?
‘Capture of her is a must now…” I nodded to myself as she glanced up at me, fear in her eyes as I smirked down at her and allowed her to quickly scramble to her feet. The capture is nothing without the thrill of the chase I had to give her a sporting chance, where was the fun if she did not run?
“Oh crap…” (Y/n) mumbled as she started to back up as I advanced, squeaking as she pinned herself to a tree and blushed as I placed my hands on either side of her. “W-what are you doing? You’ve trapped me, s-so just tag me already…”
“I think not. There is no fun in the last capture of the night if the opponent is so dull they back themselves into a corner so easily. And after you’ve been so careful this whole night…” I murmur into her ear, chuckling darkly as she shuddered and backed away, bowing slightly and pointing her to the safe zone, the weeping angel statue at the far end of the cemetery. “Go. Now.”
“And if I don’t?” she raised an eyebrow at me.
“You are the last one who has never been caught. I will convince Tony you deserve to drink the rest of that alcohol.”
“H-how do I know you won’t just use a clone to catch me?”
“I swear I will not use magic. Would you just start running, please?” I motioned for her to run again.
“Fine…” she nodded, walking slowly past me before bolting through the slightly wooded area we wer in.

Reader’s point of View
“Fine…” you gulped, stepping past him with confidence as you felt your heart leap into your throat and tore through the pine trees as fast as you could when you heard his dark laugh.
“Run, little (Y/n), for I have plans for you once I have you in my grasp, and no Avengers will stand in my way.” Loki called out to you as you navigated around grave markers and tripped behind a mausoleum.
‘We never said we couldn’t climb, and I know parkour. Time to play a game of cat and mouse with this God…”  you scramble up the slick marble just as his head whips around the corner and smirked down at him as he blinked in shock. ‘Scare: God of Mischief: 0. Midgardian: 1. Let the games being…”

Loki’s Point of View
I stared in amazement at the blank ground in front of me. I knew (Y/n) had made it to this place and no further, so were was she?
‘Magic wielder. And Thor told me no magic was to be used by anyone!” I raged to myself, feeling a shadow fly over my head and turned to see what had caused that. Whatever it was I couldn’t find it. I suddenly felt as though I were the one being stalked, as if I were the prey.
“What is this sorcery you use, (Y/n)?” I called into the darkness, shivering involuntarily as I heard her laugh from all around me and spun to try to catch a glimpse of her. ‘Of all the…” I growl to myself, not even all my training on Asgard had prepared me for this kind of witchery. And to top it all off it was coming from a mere Midgardian!
“What’s the matter, Loki? Can’t catch me? I’m not even aiming for the safe point now, seeing you scared like a little mouse is just so much fun.” (Y/n)’s voice seemed to come from every shadow.
“I am not frightened of you, mortal. I could snap your neck in an instant if I so wished.” I snarled, moving to the nearby birch tree and quickly made my way around it.
“Oh I know, you’re scared of what will happen to you if you used magic to find me. By the way, first sign of magic and you forfeit the game.” She spoke behind me, causing me to turn in a lunge and collide with the damp grass.  “Sorry, you’ll have to try better than that. Or you could go after Tony, he’s just sitting to your left.”
“No! You are the one I am hunting!” I snarled, going to stand when something large landed on my back, sending me back into the dampness before leaping away from me.
“Why me? Tony’s just there for the taking.” She pondered. She sounded close, maybe if I could keep her talking I would find her.
“If I capture you and turn you into the ghost it will prove my superiority  over those blasted Avengers.” I stood and started searching the darkness again. A figure loomed out of the shadows in front of me and I took my opportunity, seeing as its back was to me I slid my fingers over its shoulders and pulled. It didn’t budge. “What?”
“You’ll have to be quicker than that. I might have been at the angel by now if I didn’t want to see you fumble around in the dark.” To my left! I quickly step that direction to collide with a tree.
“Oof?!” I winced, stepping back and rubbing my head. This mortal was toying with me, flaunting her magic for the whole world to see and I had to find my way around like a foolish Midgardian.

Reader’s point of View

You winced as you watched the all-powerful god collide with the tree trunk, holding tight to the branch you were on and heard him groan.
‘He’s not used to doing things without magic… it’s always been a part of him…” you think as you step lightly to the edge of the branch, dropping to the ground quietly and rolled for cover under some bushes.
“Hey (Y/n), Loki! Game over, it’s starting to get light out here!” Tony called from a little ways away.
“No! I will find (Y/n) and she will finally be ghost!” Loki shouted from right above you.
“You might find her but it will be too light to play soon!” Tony yelled back as you crawled away.
“It does not matter!”
“Five minutes and we’re leaving!” Steve shouted as you made your way on top of another mausoleum, turning and staring at the terror in Loki’s eyes.
‘So my options are let him catch me and get drunk or make it to safety and obtain Loki’s rage… some choice I have…” you sigh inwardly, readying yourself for what you were about to do and bit your lower lip as you watched the man below frantically search the area around him. “You won’t find me that way…” you call down to him flipping over his head as he turned to stare at were you had been and landed behind him.
“Then what way must I look? With magic? You told me I forfeit if I use magic.” He snapped.
“Try with your senses. Feel where I am.” You smile slightly as he shuts his eyes and exhales slowly.
“You are making this much more difficult than need be…” he rumbled as he held his hands out.
“Just feel…” you put your hands out in front of his.
“I feel stupid…” he whined, causing you to giggle.
“Come on, God. Are you telling me you can’t find a Midgardian like me?” you walk in a circle around him, smirking as he slowly followed and backed up as he stepped forward. “Well?”
“I think I can see your essence… what magic have you been using?” he pinned you to a tree, placing his hands on your arms and opened his eyes slowly. “How did you evade me for so long?”
“Parkour. It’s not magic, I’ve just been jumping into trees and other such things, dodging you and flipping around you.” You shrug.
“So why give yourself up?” he questioned.
“Time! Did you get her?!” Tony called from the entrance as the dawn light crept in.
“He won the chase.” You smirk, a mischievous tint in your eye as Loki stared down at you.
So I was thinking of using this for the LokiLiteratureLovers weekly prompt, "Chase", but I don't know if I should use this or do a different one... This doesn't seem like much of a chase to me, what do you guys think?

I would hit Loki with a stick and run to the weeping angel and hug it in victory xD
